| The Secretary of States' office wanted to develop an exciting new web site that would be a complement to their pre-existing main site. Our target audience, would be elementary and middle school students ages 9 to 14. The main challenge of this site was to create dynamic visuals and content that would be attractive, educational, and fun for youth while at the same time provide for efficient navigation on a site filled with information regarding Secretary of State services, Michigan history, voter information, and How a Bill Becomes a Law. | |||||||||||||

| After much discussion, we decided to create an illustrated cartoon character called Cyber Seal to be the central figure and focus of their site. He would serve as a friendly guide to the newly developed Kids Discover Michigan web site. The entire site was developed in an illustrative cartoon style that incorporated animation, freehand illustration, photography, interactive games, and a short music video clip via Real Media streaming. | |||||||||||||
